Threshold Acquires Rights to ASA Racing Series

    SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 28 TheThreshold.com, a
subsidiary of multimedia and intellectual property management giant Threshold
Entertainment, today announced its acquisition of the exclusive on-line rights
to the American Speed Association (ASA).  ASA is a national-touring stock car
racing series in its 34th year, nationally televised live on TNN.  The series
will become part of the sports/cars section on TheThreshold.com, one of five
categories on the online entertainment network geared to the male demographic.
The official ASA site will also be available directly through
http://www.asaracing.com.
    The ASA ACDelco Series consists of 20 races each year and ranks as one of
the richest stock car series in the nation.  Last season saw a payout of
$5.2 million including $1 million points fund to its top-20 teams with
$200,000 for its National Champion and $50,000 for its Rookie of the Year.
In 2001 ASA will visit 19 different tracks in 15 different states, including
major markets such as Los Angles, Chicago, Indianapolis, Nashville and
Charlotte.

    Programming on the site will include behind-the-scenes footage, exclusive
news and interviews with drivers, virtual autograph sessions, merchandise,
contests and more.  As with all of its licensed brands, Threshold will
initially launch the property on the Internet and will continue to work with
ASA to expand it into offline media.
