ABRA Promotes Two in Utah

MINNEAPOLIS--March 27, 2001--ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a national damaged vehicle repair company, announced today the promotion of two team members from their Salt Lake City, Utah market. According to Tim Adelmann, ABRA's Chief Operations Officer, Shannon Holden has been named Director of Operations for the Utah market, and Klaye Slack has been promoted to General Manager of ABRA-Murray. Both changes are effective April 2, 2001.
Holden has been in the damaged vehicle repair industry for twenty-three years, most recently as General Manager of ABRA's South Salt Lake facility, and then ABRA's Murray location. His main responsibilities as Operations Manager are to assist the repair centers in the Utah market in meeting their financial, team member satisfaction, and customer satisfaction goals. This newly-created position corresponds with ABRA's long-term growth plans in the Utah market.
"It's amazing to me to think that only four years ago I was a body technician", stated Holden. "My promotions within ABRA should serve as inspiration to other team members who want to advance within the company. It's an honor to be working for an industry leader that believes in their employees, and the future of our industry."
Slack, who has been with ABRA for two and one-half years and has worked nearly ten years in the industry, has been promoted from his position as Customer Service Manager at the Murray location. As the General Manager he will provide management, mentoring and coaching support to all departments and team members within the Murray facility. "I have worked for several different repair facilities over the years", said Slack, "but ABRA is the only one that has provided significant career growth and internal promotion. My family and I are very excited about this new responsibility, and look forward to a bright future within the ABRA organization."
Both Holden and Slack reside in the Salt Lake City metro area. Holden, his wife Jody and two and one-half-year-old daughter Tatum live in Draper; Slack and his wife Tara have an eighteen-month-old son, Tyler, and reside in Lehi.
