Dana Corporation's Victor Reinz Europe Earns ISO/TS 16949
Certification
TOLEDO, Ohio, Mar. 27 Dana Corporation's
Victor Reinz Europe division has earned the prestigious ISO/TS 16949
certification. ISO/TS 16949 is a harmonized quality system standard for the
global automotive industry.
Victor Reinz Europe is the first Dana division to earn this accreditation,
with facilities in Neu-Ulm, Germany, and Calatayud, Spain, receiving their
certificates earlier this year. Additionally, some of Dana's Glacier
Vandervell Europe operations have also been certified.
ISO/TS 16949 was developed by the International Automotive Task Force and
approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is
based on previous automotive quality system requirements including ISO, AVSQ
(Italian), EAQF (French), QS-9000 (U.S.), and VDA 6.1 (German), and provides
common automotive requirements for the automotive supply chain globally.
"This certification shows our commitment to customer requirements,
underlines our efforts for continuous improvements, and supports our
dedication to TQM," said Ralf Goettel, vice president and general manager of
Victor Reinz Europe.
Victor Reinz Europe manufactures and distributes engine sealing products,
