Delphi Honored By Toyota for Excellence in Quality and Delivery

    TROY, Mich., March 26 Delphi Automotive Systems
was honored for meeting Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America's
(TMMNA) quality and delivery standards at the 2001 TMMNA Annual Business
Meeting & Awards Ceremony last week in Covington, Ky.  TMMNA presented four
Delphi divisions with certificates of achievement for meeting its targets in
quality and/or delivery.
    
    "TMMNA traditionally sets very high standards for quality and delivery,"
said Jim Damratoski, Delphi's regional customer manager for Toyota North
America.  "We are honored to receive recognition for continuing to meet
Toyota's targets, and we look forward to exceeding their expectations in the
future."

    Delphi divisions receiving certificates of achievement for meeting TMMNA's
targets included:

    *  Delphi Energy & Chassis Systems, quality and delivery certificates for
the batteries it supplies for the Tacoma pickup truck;
    *  Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems, quality and delivery certificates for
the radiators it supplies for the Sienna minivan and the Tacoma truck;
    *  Delphi Interior Systems, quality and delivery certificates for the
power sliding door components it supplies for the Sienna minivan; and
    *  Delphi Packard Electric Systems, quality certificate for the wiring
harnesses it supplies for the Tacoma, and a quality certificate for the
temperature sensors it supplies for the Camry and Corolla.

    These divisions, along with Delphi Delco Electronic Systems and Delphi
Saginaw Steering Systems, also were honored recently by New United Motor
Manufacturing Inc. (NUMMI) for meeting cost, quality and/or delivery targets.
NUMMI is a joint venture between Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America and
General Motors Corp.
