Detroit Diesel Corporation Markets New Technology in Fuel Filtration

DETROIT, March 23 Detroit Diesel Corporation (DDC) today
announced a joint agreement with Davco Technology, LLC and Donaldson Company,
Inc. to manufacture and distribute a new extended life filter
element for use in the Davco 382 "Fuel Processor." Using Davco's EleMax(TM)
filter technology under license, Donaldson will manufacture the new extended
life filter element and Detroit Diesel will have exclusive marketing and
distribution rights for six months.

The advanced EleMax(TM) filter technology provides an accurate, visual
method of determining when the fuel filter needs to be replaced. Users will
benefit from extended filter change intervals and reduced parts and labor
costs.

"The EleMax(TM) filter gives DDC a unique opportunity to take to market a
product that offers extended change intervals, clean and safe disposal and
significant savings to our customers. Davco's patent-pending design is
superior to any other long life fuel filtration product in the market today
and we are proud to be the exclusive distribution network for the EleMax(TM),"
said Ed Hart, Performance Products Development Manager at DDC.

"This agreement leverages the superior filtration technology of Donaldson
and Davco's expertise in heavy duty fuel processing to make more efficient and
effective filtration products for diesel engines used in commercial and off-
road applications," said Ron Scriver, Market Manager, Donaldson Company. "It
also leverages Detroit Diesel's expertise in marketing and distribution
enabling us to get the product to market faster and expedite its benefits to
customers."

Kevin Rucinski, President Davco Technology, added, "With the introduction
of the EleMax(TM) filter element, Davco has established a new benchmark in
filtration performance and service life over conventional filtration systems.
The collaborative development effort between DDC, Donaldson, and Davco will
position the Davco fuel management system as the optimal choice for those
customers seeking the best value and lowest operation cost for their
applications."
