'The Name's Bond' British Classical Pop Quartet Drive Their Jaguars From the UK All the Way to The NY Stock Exchange

NEW YORK, March 21 This morning Haylie, Eos, Tania and
Gay-Yee -- known collectively as "bond" -- launched their debut album, Born,
by driving up the steps of the famous New York Stock Exchange. The band's
vehicle of choice? Unlike the famed British spy of the same name, this bond
chose Jaguar's XKR Convertible.

"Jaguar is delighted to support a fellow British export like bond -- bond,
like Jaguar, is redefining the classics," says Michelle Cervantez, VP
Marketing for Jaguar North America. "In the future, Jaguar will continue to
draw on its heritage of style and elegance while evolving with a fresh, modern
edge."
Already a Top Ten pop hit in the UK, the British media have dubbed bond
the "Classical Spice Girls" as they inspire frenzied, N'Sync-like devotion
from their legion of fans, with male and female groupies scrambling for bond's
album and imitating their style. This week, bond will introduce their funky
pop-infused classical sound to the U.S. with Born -- the album that spawned a
bond phenomenon overseas. The brainchild of Mel Bush, who helped cultivate
legendary talents such as Led Zeppelin, Sting and Elton John, bond has already
left the classical music world shaken and stirred.
Along with eschewing flowing black dresses for the midriff-baring sequin
tops and jeans favored by most pop stars, bond also has chosen Jaguar as their
car of choice. The relationship between bond and Jaguar will see the
automaker provide vehicles to bond as the group makes a name for itself in
America.
Through the year, bond will be touring the U.S. to promote their special
sound and their new album Born, and continuing to drive America wild for
classical pop in their Jaguars.
