Ford Names Kathleen Oswald HR Executive

DEARBORN, Mich., March 21 Ford Motor Company
today named Kathleen Oswald executive director, Human Resources Customer
Operations. Her appointment is effective March 26.
"Kathy brings a great breadth of knowledge and experience to our company,"
said David Murphy, vice president, Human Resources. "Her strategic capability
and focus on implementation make her a tremendous addition to our team. She
will really add value to our people priorities."
At Ford, Oswald, 51, will be responsible for education and training,
global recruiting, personnel relations, diversity and worklife planning,
employee call centers, HR information and technology systems, employee vehicle
programs, and security and fire operations.

and developing its people."
Oswald joins Ford after a 29-year career at DaimlerChrysler and Chrysler
Corporation in Human Resources executive positions. Her most recent
assignment was senior vice president and chief administrative officer.
She has a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Management and a master
of personnel management from Central Michigan University.
Oswald is chairperson of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan and a
member of the board of directors of Detroit Zoological Society and Michigan
Virtual University.
