Premo Lubrication Has Collaboration Agreement With Pall Corporation

TAMPA, Fla., March 21 Premo Lubrication Technologies, a
leader in engine and hydraulic oil filtering systems, announced today that its
PremoPlus oil by-pass filter systems now utilize an advanced, high performance
3 micron absolute filter media pack designed by Pall Corporation ,
a leading edge supplier to the filtration and separations industry.

The new filter design will provide not only improved cleanliness but also
extended filter service life even under harsh, high soot-level engine lube
system conditions.

The new PremoPlus oil by-pass system features a proprietary Pall filter
media design that captures 99.5% of all particles 3 microns or larger
(Beta > 200). This improvement results in downstream Multi-pass cleanliness
levels over 2.5 times cleaner to provide enhanced protection against soot
build-up in diesel engine lube systems, especially when compared to
traditional engine lube filters that are "nominally" rated between 30 and 40
microns. The PremoPlus filter also features a unique, tapered pore media
design that gradually spreads contaminants through the full depth of the media
to prevent blind-off and premature element plugging. After filtering, the
PremoPlus system heats the oil to 195 degrees F in a separate chamber to
vaporize and vent off any liquid contaminants remaining in the oil.

The improved filtering and re-refining process, when used in conjunction
with routine oil analysis, can dramatically extend diesel engine lube oil
service life. Instead of an oil change, simply spin-off the Premo 3um filter,
spin-on a new one and top-off with 2-3 quarts of new oil -- not the 48 quarts
normally needed for a Class 8 truck oil change.

Also, following the recommended filter change frequency of 20,000 - 30,000
miles on the Premo filter (and 75,000 miles for the engine full flow filter)
saves additional maintenance costs and downtime. Finally, running with clean
engine oil every day, every mile can extend vehicle life, providing
substantial savings in reduced fleet acquisition costs.
