Federal-Mogul Renews Agreement to Provide Parts Plus w/ Fel-Pro Gaskets

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 20 Federal-Mogul Corporation
, has renewed an agreement with Parts Plus to supply the parts
distributor with Fel-Pro(R) gaskets.  The three-year agreement is estimated to
be worth a total of nearly $50 million.
    
    It is the second major supply agreement with Parts Plus announced by
Federal-Mogul in recent months.  In November 2000, Federal-Mogul renewed an
agreement to provide Parts Plus with Moog chassis parts, a commitment worth an
estimated $60 million over three years.

    "This latest contract demonstrates our members' strong desire to maintain
Fel-Pro as their gasket of choice," said Michael Lambert, president of Parts
Plus.  "Our members are committed to providing their customers with high-
quality, brand name auto parts from leading manufacturers.  The performance
and quality of Fel-Pro parts have been excellent, which is why professional
installers continue to rely on them."

    Federal-Mogul has been partners with Parts Plus on various brands for more
than 22 years, according to Robert Egan, Federal-Mogul's vice president,
aftermarket sales, Americas.  "We're looking forward to continuing to provide
