Tellus Technology will Supply OEM modules to Telogis For Automatic Vehicle Location --AVL-- and Telematics Solutions

    FREMONT, Calif.--March 20, 2001--Tellus Technology, Inc., a developer and supplier of wireless Internet access terminals, today announced that it has reached an agreement with Telogis, a provider of vehicle data center solutions and content, to supply TPRM(TM) 130c CDPD OEM modules for automatic vehicle location (AVL) and telematics solutions.
    Tellus OEM modules will be integrated into Telogis' vCORE to remotely track vehicles and for two-way communications in real-time.
    The recently released vCORE is an intelligent in-vehicle communications hub. The rugged enclosure houses a powerful RISC-processor, a SiRF GPS receiver and Tellus TPRM 130c. Software features include 128-bit data encryption and compression, store and forward technology and SmartSleep(TM) power management.
