Volvo Global Trucks Deliveries as of February 2001

STOCKHOLM, Sweden--March 19, 2001--Deliveries from Volvo Global Trucks through February 2001 amounted to 26 017 trucks compared to pro forma 27 925 trucks last year (-7%).
Compared to the same period last year total order intake was down 13%, whereof North America was down 18% and Europe 7%.

"We are also beginning to see a downturn in the central part of Europe while demand in eastern Europe continues to be strong".
