ACLN Announces February Car Volumes

LIMASSOL, Cyprus--March 19, 2001--ACLN Limited today announced that in the month of February it shipped approximately 12,000 automobiles.
Year-to-date through February, the Company has shipped over 22,000 cars, which compared to the 16,340 cars shipped in the first quarter of 2000, represents a 36% increase. The Company also reported that it presently has a backlog of over 6,500 cars awaiting shipment.
ACLN also announced that its wholesale distribution service has sold and transported approximately 3,850 cars to date. Over 2,600, or about 21% of the autos shipped in February, were new cars sold through the Company's wholesale distribution service.
"Demand for door-to-door automobile logistics is exploding, particularly in West African markets such as Nigeria," commented Joseph Bisschops, Chairman of the Board. "We are pleased with the effect this growing demand is having on our business. It is heartening to see that despite recent economic slowdowns in other parts of the world that demand for automobiles continues to be strong in Africa."
"Our car volumes for the first quarter are encouraging, especially in light of the fact that the first quarter is typically a seasonally slow quarter," said Aldo Labiad, Chief Executive Officer.
