Entrada Software Announces the Addition of Dr.
Mikel Harry, Founder of the Six Sigma Academy, to the
Entrada Advisory Board
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 19 Entrada Software, Inc.,
(OTC Bulletin Board: ETSW) the leading provider of traceability solutions for
manufacturers, today announced that Dr. Mikel Harry has joined Entrada
Software's Board of Strategic Advisors.
Dr. Harry, Founder and Chairman of the Six Sigma Academy, joins existing
board members Michael Forster, Senior Partner of the Internet Capital Group;
Dr. Philip Wolfe, Associate Dean of Industrial Engineering at Arizona State
University; and Dr. Suchindran Chatterjee, Chief Technology Officer of
Competix.com.
"Entrada's Kinnosa solution raises the bar of accountability for
manufacturers," said Bruce Williams, President and CEO of Entrada Software.
"The public is intensifying its concern for what goes into finished goods.
Since more and more manufacturers are farming out their manufacturing process,
the looming question becomes, what's actually in what you've made? The
repercussions can be far reaching. Kinnosa provides an accounting for the
world to see and know. We are inviting the most respected minds in business,
technology, and academia to help us apply this capability responsibly, and are
honored for Dr. Harry, a visionary and leader in business optimization, to
join our board and help guide us in this quest."
Dr. Harry became widely recognized as a founder of the Six Sigma quality
initiative while at Motorola in the 1980's. His work helped
Motorola win the first Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award, given by the
U.S. Congress recognizing and inspiring the pursuit of quality in business.
As one of the principal architects of Six Sigma, Dr. Harry was responsible for
the research and development of advanced Six Sigma engineering models,
development of Six Sigma implementation strategy, deployment guidelines, and
advanced application tools. Dr. Harry's book, "Six Sigma: The Breakthrough
Management Strategy Revolutionizing the World's Top Corporations" has made the
Wall Street Journal's best-seller list and is one of the top selling business
quality books to date.
Six Sigma techniques have since been heralded across leading global
corporations, including General Electric. GE's Jack Welch describes Six Sigma
as "the most important initiative GE has ever undertaken," and credits Six
Sigma principals for saving GE over one billion dollars in just two years.
Recently, Ford Motor Company engaged the Six Sigma Academy on a multi-year
campaign to apply the principles and techniques across its global supply
chain.
Dr. Harry, a lifelong Arizona resident, will work directly with Entrada's
senior management team to help develop Kinnosa's application tools. "Kinnosa
is a very powerful tool. Like Six Sigma, Kinnosa has breakthrough potential
to change the course of a company and its supply and delivery chain processes.
I'm thrilled to contribute to this effort which has everything to do with
ensuring the integrity of the processes as well as the finished product."
