Total Employee Assistance & Management, Inc. To Provide Adjustment Counseling to Laid Off DaimlerChrysler Employees

    TROY, Mich., March 16 Total Employee Assistance &
Management, Inc. (TEAM) has been contracted to assist DaimlerChrysler
employees with adjustment counseling.
    Total Employee Assistance & Management is located in Troy, Michigan and
has been providing Employee Assistance Programs to some of Michigan's larger
employers for over a decade.  TEAM's services are currently available to over
300,000 employees and their families.
    Mr. Kent Sharkey, President and CEO of TEAM said the company is standing
by to help those affected by today's layoffs.  "Many of the emotions that
these people are feeling are normal considering the unusual circumstances, the
loss and even anger that they are feeling.  The psychological emotions can
range from shock and despair to anxiety and even rage for them and for their
families," said Sharkey, who is a practicing psychotherapist working with both
employees and employers.
    Mr. Sharkey emphasized that it is extremely important that they use the
help available to them.  This will help them to overcome this loss and get
back to some normalcy in their lives as soon as possible.
