SupplySolution, Inc. Signs Exclusive Provider Agreement with Covisint

Covisint now offers SupplySolution supply chain execution applications
                    and related technology infrastructure

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 15 SupplySolution, Inc., a
leading provider of supply chain execution applications, today announced that
it has signed an exclusive provider agreement with Covisint, the e-business
exchange for the automotive industry. Under the agreement terms,
SupplySolution's current supply chain execution infrastructure and
applications, including the company's premier i-Supply(TM) Service, will be
made available to all current and future Covisint customers worldwide.
Currently, i-Supply is the automotive industry's most widely used web-based
application for direct material fulfillment, operating at over 750 automotive
supplier companies.
The agreement also states that the two companies will co-develop future
supply chain applications that may include real-time ordering, planning and
logistics.
"This is the first of many steps to implement Covisint's best-of-breed
supply chain strategy. This relationship provides instant access to services
and applications that streamline supply chain execution, and technology that
enhances and complements that of Covisint," said Chris Steele, Supply Chain
Lead, Covisint. "SupplySolution's service offerings are quick to deploy and
easy to use. Measurable benefits in inventory reduction and associated costs
are visible within 90 days."
SupplySolution's supply chain execution offering contains three components
-- the i-Supply Service, i-GetIt(TM), and the SupplySolution Global
Infrastructure. i-Supply is a real-time direct material fulfillment
application, providing suppliers, manufacturers and distributors with instant
information from their customers' Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or other
legacy systems, allowing them to effectively manage inventories and work
collaboratively with their supply chain partners. Implementation time for i-
Supply can be as short as two weeks. i-GetIt is the technology platform that
solves the requirement for real-time, secure data extraction and/or delivery
of data to and from ERP, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) and legacy systems. SupplySolution Global Infrastructure
addresses the requirements for real-time messaging and message transformation,
data/content management, user profiles, views and transaction management.
"SupplySolution's exclusive provider agreement with Covisint validates the
strength of our solution, which is to develop technologies and applications
that deliver immediate value to our customers in the area of supply chain
execution," said SupplySolution President and CEO Chris Moritz. "This is our
company's most significant agreement to date. We see exceptional market
potential in extending these offerings to Covisint's customers."
SupplySolution's offerings will be available immediately to all Covisint
customers on a subscription basis. Current SupplySolution customers will be
offered the opportunity to join the Covisint exchange at their contract
anniversary date or sooner if the customer elects.
"Our company has seen immediate, significant results following the
implementation of SupplySolution's i-Supply Service in our Business Units,"
said Bill Platko, Tower Automotive. "This agreement builds on the extremely
positive experience we have had to date with SupplySolution, and now offers us
a single source to manage our supply chain needs moving forward."
