Johnson Controls Receives Toyota Delivery Award

    MILWAUKEE, March 15 Johnson Controls , North
America's largest automotive battery manufacturer, has received Toyota's
Certificate of Delivery Performance.  This is the ninth consecutive year that
Johnson Controls has received an award from Toyota.

    Johnson Controls was honored for its superior delivery performance for the
original equipment batteries it supplies for Toyota's Kentucky and Indiana
plants.  These batteries are manufactured for Toyota in the Johnson Controls
Toledo, Ohio plant.

    "This award represents Johnson Controls commitment to maintaining a
productive relationship with Toyota.  It also reflects the dedication to
service and quality of our employees, in particular our Toledo employees,"
said Doug Brown, vice president of sales, Battery Automotive Systems Group.

"We value customers like Toyota for helping us continuously improve."

    The award was presented March 7, at Toyota's Annual Supplier Business
Meeting and Awards Ceremony in Cincinnati.
