Court Square Capital Limited Completes Acquisition of Delco Remy International, Inc.

    WILMINGTON, Del., March 15 Court Square Capital Limited
("Court Square"), announced today that it has completed its acquisition of
Delco Remy International, Inc. ("Delco Remy") by merging a
subsidiary of Court Square with and into Delco Remy.  The merger follows the
completion of Court Square's $9.50 per share cash tender offer for all Delco
Remy Class A common stock (other than those Class A shares held by Court
Square).  Court Square previously announced that its subsidiary had acquired
approximately 90.2% of the outstanding shares of Delco Remy Class A common
stock in the offer.
    As a result of the merger, any Delco Remy shares of Class A common stock
(other than shares held by persons exercising dissenters' rights) not accepted
for payment in connection with the tender offer will be converted into the
right to receive $9.50 per share in cash upon presentation of proper
documentation to American Stock Transfer & Trust Company.  Within the next few
days, Delco Remy will mail to non-tendering stockholders materials to be used
to exchange Delco Remy Class A stock certificates for such payment.  Questions
