announced that it received the WestStart 5th Annual Blue Sky Merit Award.  The
award is presented each year by WestStart -- the advanced transportation
consortium -- to recognize the outstanding contributions of companies that
bring clean-fuel vehicles to market and help to increase the awareness of
their need.  IMPCO has produced more than 4 million gaseous fuel systems and
components in its 42-year history.
    IMPCO recently announced the formation of Quantum Technologies, Inc. as a
wholly owned subsidiary to focus on enabling technologies for alternative
propulsion and energy in emerging global markets.  Hydrogen and compressed
