Special Public Sneak Preview

                       New York International Auto Show
                      Friday, April 13; 1:00 - 8:00 p.m.

    NEW YORK, March 15 Car enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a
Special Public Sneak Preview of the 2001 New York International Automobile
Show on Friday, April 13, 2001 from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m.  For the first time in
its 101-year history, the Auto Show will open its doors a day early to allow
die-hard auto fans in to see the Show before it officially opens on Saturday,
April 14th.
    "Thanks to a lot of convincing from car fanatics across the Tri-State
area, we are delighted to announce that the public can come over on Friday,
April 13 and take an early look at the show before its officially opens," said
Mark Schienberg, president of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers
Association, the organization which owns and operates the show.
     Sneak Preview tickets will be on sale at the Javits Center beginning at
12:30 p.m. and are also available in advance through Ticketmaster
(http://www.ticketmaster.com).  The Preview is sponsored by the GM Card.

    Public Show Dates & Times
    The public show, which runs from Saturday, April 14 to Sunday, April 22,
will be open during the following hours:

    Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
    Sundays - Sunday 11 a.m. - 10.30 p.m.

      $9 adults, $3 children under 12
      $1 off general admission tickets for groups of 10 or more.
