Norgren Automotive Launches NorLok(TM) Modular Tooling

MT. CLEMENS, Mich., March 14 Norgren Automotive today
announced the launch of its new NorLok(TM) modular tooling system, a robotic
end-of-arm tooling component utilizing spline rods which adjust and lock onto
mounting hardware, then bolt to a boom extrusion. The system offers the
flexibility of adjustable and fixed end-of-arm tooling rods which feature
hollow, weight-saving 7.5-degree splines (25mm and 40mm diameters), allowing
freedom for adjustment and the rigidity of welded construction. NorLok(TM)
also uses calibration numbers etched into the mounts for quick reference for
re-configuration in the event of a system crash or last-minute design changes.

"We are committed to the continual improvement and expansion of Norgren
Automotive's product line," said Mike Pomaranski, vice president, operations.
"The NorLok(TM) modular tooling system is a good example of how we are
manufacturing products with greater flexibility, function and less weight."
