Car Clubs Honored

Eagle One Honors Car Clubs With 'Golden Rule' Award

Carlsbad, Calif., March 13, 2001 -- Car Clubs in four regions have been honored with the "Golden Rule" Award for conducting the most outstanding community service program in their area during the year 2000.

The award has been presented to car clubs for the past eight years by Eagle One, a leading marketer of premium appearance care products. Eagle One developed the program to enhance the image of the car club movement in the United States.

The winners and their area were: Tacoma Model T Ford Club, Tacoma, WA, West; United Street Machines, Troy, MI, Midwest; Fastiques Rod & Custom of Southern Ohio, Loveland, OH, East; Mississippi Coast Mustang Club, Biloxi, MS, South.

The clubs received a large supply of Eagle One premium appearance care products, a large supply of Valvoline MaxLife motor oil and a custom-designed plaque.

Runners-up in each region were: Rogue Valley Street Rods, Medford, OR; Nifty Fifty Cruisers, Cloquet, MN; Heart of Maryland Classic Chevy Club, Mount Airy, MD; Bad Company Street Rods and Custom, Conover, NC. Each received a generous supply of products from Eagle One and Valvoline.
