Modine Elects James R. Rulseh Officer and Group Vice President

    RACINE, Wis.--March 12, 2001--The Board of Directors of Modine Manufacturing Company has elected James R. Rulseh an officer of the company and group vice president, with overall responsibility for the Automotive Division, the Aftermarket Division, the Commercial HVAC&R (Heating, Ventilating, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration) Division, and the Fuel Cell Products Group. He will report to David B. Rayburn, executive vice president, operations.
    Rulseh has been with Modine for 24 years, most recently as managing director of the Modine Europe Automotive Division. He joined Modine in 1977 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a B.S. degree in industrial technology and progressed through a number of plant and division positions, including: plant manager at McHenry, Ill., operations manager for the Automotive Division, and general manager of the Heavy Duty and Industrial Division.
    Rulseh has also been active in community organizations during his Modine career. He served as chairman of the company's United Way campaign in Racine and spearheaded a 10-acre prairie restoration project in McHenry, Ill. He has given several presentations on prairie restoration to environmental organizations.
    He, his wife, Darlene, and children will relocate to the Racine area in April.
