Siemens Automotive Promotes Kurt Schoepfle to Director of Sales

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 12 Siemens Automotive Corp.
today announced the promotion of Kurt Schoepfle to Director of Sales.
Schoepfle is now responsible for the company's sales to the Asian and service
customers in North America.
    Previously, Schoepfle was a member of Siemens Automotive's Dearborn,
Mich., sales team, where he was responsible for growing the company's Body
Electronic, Safety Electronic and Motor Drive business with Ford Motor Co.
    He joined the company in 1997 representing the Motor Drives group and has
steadily grown his business responsibilities, assisting with the development
of Siemens Automotive's strategy to support Ford's 42-volt and Integrated
Starter Generator technologies.
    Prior to joining Siemens, Schoepfle spent more than 20 years with Ford,
and what was to eventually become Visteon, in a variety of positions within
purchasing and production control.
    Schoepfle earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from Wittenberg
University, Springfield, Ohio, in 1976 and a master of business administration
degree from the University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio, in 1988.
    He currently resides in Novi, Mich., with wife Anne and their three
children Brian, Laura and Eric.
