UQM Technologies, Inc. Announces Appointment Of Gary L. Forbes to Head Its UQM Power Products Unit

    GOLDEN, Colo., March 12 UQM Technologies, Inc.
(AMEX: UQM), a developer of alternative energy technologies, announced today
that it has appointed Gary L. Forbes as General Manager of its UQM Power
Products unit.
    Mr. Forbes has more than 35 years experience in progressively responsible
positions for Hamilton-Sundstrand Corporation including most recently as Plant
Manager of the Company's Denver manufacturing facility producing components
for electrical generating systems, gear boxes, fluid pumping systems and
various other products.  Prior to that, Mr. Forbes was Managing Director,
Sundstrand Pacific Aerospace, located in the Republic of Singapore.
Mr. Forbes is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Former
Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce for the Republic of Singapore and
holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in manufacturing engineering.
