RON HORNADAY, NO. 14 CONSECO PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

(ON HIS RACE) "It was just one of those days. We really tightened the car up yesterday for 'Happy Hour,' so today we had to loosen it up and loosen it up all day long. We just missed the whole setup - shock package and the whole thing. I thought we had a pretty good car."

(ON WHAT ENDED HIS DAY?) "We came in for that one pit stop and didn't have a clutch. Then with about 80 [laps] to go the car started vibrating pretty good. We ran about 10 more laps and then she finally blew up. The clutch came out the bottom of it."
