NASCAR WCUP: Bari Italian Foods Joins Forces With Andy Petree Racing

FLAT ROCK, NC- Andy Petree Racing announced today that Bari Italian Foods will join the No. 55 Square D team and driver Bobby Hamilton as an associate sponsor for the remainder of the 2001 Winston Cup season.

Bari Italian Foods, a major food distributor to independent restaurants in the Southeast, will be serve as an associate sponsor on the Square D Chevrolet.

"Our company is excited to be a part of racing's premier series and Andy Petree Racing," said Jeff Lee, vice president of Bari Italian Foods. "We plan to support our sponsorship with corporate hospitality and other customer promotions."

Andy Petree Racing is still seeking a full-time sponsorship partner that will work with Square D for the remainder of the 2001 season.

"If early performances are any indication of how this season will go, both the No. 33 and the No. 55 teams are on pace for career best points finishes," said Steve Barkdoll, vice president and general manager of Andy Petree Racing. "It's an exciting time for APR and our sponsors."
