Marc Anthony to Pilot Jaguar's Tribute to Style Into Barker Hangar

     Gala Evening Featuring North American Preview and Auction of All New
   Jaguar X-TYPE to Benefit the Entertainment Industry Foundation Arts And
                                Education Fund

    BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., March 8 Rodeo Drive will be
re-created at Santa Monica's Barker Hangar for Jaguar's Tribute to Style on
Sunday March 18, 2001 -- one week prior to the 73rd Annual Academy Awards.
Recording artist Marc Anthony will headline the evening.  This dazzling
evening of fashion and entertainment, benefits the Entertainment Industry
Foundation's Arts and Education Fund.
    For the first time in the event's four year history, the event will be
held outside of Beverly Hills due to unseasonably cold weather in Southern
California and unpredictable weather patterns over the Pacific Ocean.
Architectural photographers are set to photograph all three blocks of the
world-famous Rodeo Drive and organizers will employ a high-tech digital
projection system to beam images of the world famous shopping district
throughout the 28,000 square foot Barker Hangar.
    Jaguar's Tribute to Style, co-hosted by Elizabeth Hurley, Kelly Preston,
Sela Ward, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kelsey Grammer, Dennis Hopper, Samuel
L. Jackson and John Travolta, will feature cocktails, dinner, fantasy auctions
and a grand finale performance by Anthony.  The evening's Entertainment
Industry Co-Chairs include Ruth and Jake Bloom, Susan and Jonathan Dolgen,
Kelly Chapman and Ron Meyer, Jo Champa and Joseph Farrell, Wendy and Leonard
Goldberg, and Jamie and Steve Tisch.
    Other expected celebrity guests include:  Marcia Gay Harden, Cindy
Crawford, Bai Ling, Forest Whitaker, Larry King, Vivica Fox, Thora Birch, Rita
Wilson Hanks, Garcelle Beauvis, Jolie Fischer, Patricia Arquette, Tori
Spelling, Jennifer Tilly, Katie Wagner, Mimi Rogers, and Patricia Heaton.
    Entertaining the star-studded crowd, Marc Anthony has been hailed as the
"reigning king of salsa" by The New York Times, which praised his flawless
singing and categorized him as one of the great pop figures of the 20th
Century.  Despite his growing fame in other countries, Anthony remained
relatively unknown outside the Latin music world in the United States, the
result of having sung almost exclusively in Spanish.
    All of that changed with the September 1999 release of Marc Anthony, his
self-titled English language pop CD.  Starting off at number eight on the
billboard 200 album chart, it was certified platinum six weeks later, has
since been certified quadruple platinum.  The album's first single, I Need To
Know earned a 1999 Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance while
Dimelo, the Spanish version of I Need To Know won a Latin Grammy for Song of
The Year.  The album's second single, You Sang To Me, received a 2000 Grammy
nomination for Best Pop Vocal Performance.
    Anthony's success has not been limited to the music world.  He was cast in
the Broadway musical The Capeman and has graced the silver screen with
significant roles in Martin Scorsese's, Bringing Out the Dead, Stanley Tucci's
Big Night as well as appearing in The Substitute and Hackers.
    Jaguar's Tribute to Style will also serve as the perfect preview for the
2002 Jaguar X-TYPE, the automaker's all-new $29,950 luxury sport sedan.  This
will be the first time the car will be officially seen in North America.
Jaguar will be offering a one-of-a-kind X-TYPE in "Rodeo Red" for auction,
which will allow the highest bidder to take delivery of the first X-TYPE in
the U.S. in late summer.
    As part of the event, designers along Rodeo Drive have created unique
pieces inspired by Red Glamour and "The Red Carpet as Hollywood's Fashion
Runway," to be included in a silent auction during the evening.  Participating
designers this year include Fendi, Badgley Mischka, ESCADA, La Perla,
Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo among others.
All of the auction pieces will be on display in the designers' stores along
Rodeo Drive beginning on March 5, 2001 with final bids taken at Jaguar's
Tribute to Style.  All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the
Entertainment Industry Foundation Arts and Education Fund.
