Working Woman Honors Metro-Detroit Business
Owner Lizabeth Ardisana for Entrepreneurial Excellence
DEARBORN, Mich., March 8 ASG Renaissance owner Lizabeth
Ardisana has been presented with two Working Woman Entrepreneurial Excellence
Awards. Ardisana was one of two honorees in her region to be recognized in
more than one category, and one of two winners from the Metro-Detroit area.
Close to 100 nominations were submitted in the Midwest region.
Ardisana won awards in two of seven categories -- "Best Employer" and
"General Excellence." Award criteria for "Best Employer" include
demonstration of exceptional corporate benefit programs, response to employee
feedback, unique employee development and advancement programs, and employee
retention. Criteria for the "General Excellence" award include demonstration
of overall company growth and success, innovative strategies or company
practices, and recognition as an industry, business or community leader.
"ASG Renaissance is honored to be recognized by a magazine of such high
esteem," says Ardisana, CEO and principal owner of the 375-person technical
and communication services firm. "Winning these awards, and the success of
the company overall, is the direct result of a dedicated team effort on the
part of all ASG Renaissance associates."
The Third Annual Working Woman Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards celebrate
and recognize the accomplishments of women business owners. It is the first
national campaign to specifically identify the achievements of women
entrepreneurs. Awards are being presented to women entrepreneurs across the
country during six regional events. A National Awards ceremony -- during
which one finalist will be selected from the regional award recipients in each
category -- will take place in Santa Monica, Calif., on April 2, 2001.
