Visteon Is Right On Track With 2001 Sponsorship

    DEARBORN, Mich., March 8 With an eye on being fast,
flexible and flawless as one of the world's leading suppliers of integrated
automotive components and systems, Visteon Corporation identifies
with the principles of today's car racing scene.  So, for the 2001 season, the
company has renewed its sponsorship with the Patrick Racing team in the
Championship Auto Racing Team (CART) FedEx Championship Series, whose lead
driver is Roberto Moreno.

    For the fourth year in a row, Visteon enters the CART FedEx season with
its title sponsorship of Patrick Racing's #20 car.  Owned and led by U.E.
"Pat" Patrick, the team has enjoyed enormous success for nearly 30 years.  The
Visteon/Patrick Racing team has enjoyed its own success over the last three
years, including last year's first series win at the Cleveland Grand Prix.
Piloted by Roberto Moreno, the team's car ended the year in 3rd place, giving
the Visteon entry its best finish in the CART FedEx championship standings.
    The team hopes for another strong CART showing this year, with Moreno
piloting the Visteon/Patrick Racing Toyota.  A native Brazilian, Moreno has
been involved with racing for more than 25 years and is now considered a CART
veteran with seven seasons behind him.  His first race will be in CART's
initial 2001 race in Monterrey, Mexico, on March 11.
