Exide Technologies Names Heidi Skillman Vice
President of Quality & Supply Chain Management
PRINCETON, N.J., March 7 Exide Technologies ,
the global leader in stored electrical energy solutions, today announced the
appointment of Heidi Skillman to the post of Vice President, Quality & Supply
Chain Management.
Skillman replaces Michael Greenlee, who is now President of Exide's
subsidiary, Lion Compact Energy, which is developing advanced battery
technologies.
Skillman comes to Exide Technologies with a strong track record of
accomplishments and experience, including eight years in purchasing and supply
chain management. She most recently served as director, global sourcing and
supply chain management for Case Corporation in Lombard, IL.

Skillman, a certified public accountant, has a Bachelor of Science degree
in accounting from the University of Bridgeport and a Master's degree in
business administration from The Wharton School at the University of
Pennsylvania.
Exide Technologies has annualized revenues of approximately $3 billion and
has operations in 89 countries and 21,000 employees. The company serves the
industrial as well as the transportation aftermarket and original equipment

Industrial applications include network-power batteries for
telecommunications systems, fuel cell loading leveling, electric utilities,
