Cross Country Automotive Services Appoints Peter Van Alstine
To Vice President, Telematics
Appointment to Executive Position Consistent with Company's
Strategic Direction
BOSTON, March 7 Cross Country Automotive Services (CCAS)
announced today the appointment of Peter Van Alstine to the position of Vice
President, Telematics. His appointment to an executive position within the
company is consistent with CCAS' strategic direction and commitment to
increased investments in the leadership, resources, and technology necessary
to bring multi-generation telematics content and service solutions to the
industry. Van Alstine is expected to build on CCAS' Total Telematics-CRM
Solution(SM), which addresses the challenges of connectivity, content, and
conversion, announced late last year as a result of a strategic alliance with
WirelessCar of Gothenburg, Sweden and Irvine, California.
Van Alstine brings significant business development, sales, and marketing
experience to the company from positions with Boats.com, MoveCentral, and
Procter & Gamble. Peter's most recent position was Co-Founder and Vice
President, Business Development at Boats.com, an Internet marketplace for the
marine industry.
Peter received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1998, and graduated
from Dartmouth College in 1990.
