SupplySolution Announces Launch of i-Supply, version 2.7.0

Most widely-used direct material application offers added information,
                                 flexibility

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 7 SupplySolution, the leading
provider of supply chain execution applications, has announced the release of
version 2.7.0 of its i-Supply(TM) Service. i-Supply is a Web-based direct
material fulfillment service for supply chain collaboration between
manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors.
In the development of the upgrade, SupplySolution refined its graphical
user interface, or "Digital Dashboard," to provide simpler and more complete
insight into the supply chain management and delivery process, as well as a
scalable interface to better serve the specific needs of clients in different
vertical markets.
The upgrades were driven by feedback from SupplySolution's 750 current
customers. To meet and exceed their growing and changing needs,
SupplySolution designed an interface that provides more robust features and
greater functionality. The upgrade also provides more flexibility for
SupplySolution's growing number of international customers.
"The challenge was to continue the successful development of our cross-
platform, multi-industry offering of i-Supply and provide a more robust,
scalable solution for our customers' direct material fulfillment processes,"
said Jerry Hill, senior vice president of technology for SupplySolution. "We
actively sought our customers' insight into the upgrade process and their
response was absolutely invaluable. We wanted to address and satisfy their
evolving needs, and this updated version of the i-Supply Service allows us to
do that."

New features for i-Supply 2.7.0, include:

    * Display of multiple advanced shipping notices (ASNs) in the status bar
-- The inventory status bar of version 2.7.0 can now indicate the presence of
more than one ASN associated with any item. The status bar now displays both
the current and total projected inventory level based on all the ASNs in
transit.
    * An improved Shipping Manager (for suppliers) --
Improvements in the shipping manager include the display of inventory status
bars in the queue, Suggested Next Delivery on the screens used to create ASNs,
and a Cross Reference column on all Shipping Manager screens. Other
enhancements include improved error notification, the ability to backdate a
shipping date on an ASN, and display (or export to Excel) receipt history for
all company supply partners over a given time period.
    * An improved Receiving Manager (for customers) --
Improvements include a console-like interface, the ability to export all
Receipt History for all suppliers over a given time period, and better
visibility of materials in transit. These improvements make it easier for
customers to automatically and accurately populate their "Received" fields,
correct ASN errors, and accurately track actual receipt dates.
    * Six language selections, including English, German, Spanish, French,
Portuguese and Italian. These languages have been integrated into the user
interface, and can be selected by the user for their individualized interface.
    * International date formats -- in line with the cultural customization
inherent to i-Supply's new language capabilities, users can also select the
date format most appropriate to their locale.
