Monaco Coach Corporation Announces Board of Directors Change

    COBURG, Ore., March 6 Monaco Coach Corporation
announced that Lee Posey is leaving the Company's Board of Directors in order
to devote additional time toward his involvement in nonprofit work.  Mr. Posey
joined Monaco Coach Corporation's Board of Directors in July 1997.
Additionally, Mr. Posey serves as Chairman of the Board for Palm Harbor Homes,
a Dallas, Texas-based producer of multi-section manufactured homes, a position
he has held since 1977.
    "We thank Lee for his contribution over the past three years," stated Kay
L. Toolson, Monaco Coach Corporation Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of
the Board.  "His perspective and insight have been very valuable and we wish
him much continued success in all his future endeavors."
    Monaco Coach Corporation's remaining Board of Directors include Michael
Kluger, Managing Partner of Liberty Partners; Carl Ring, Managing Partner of
Liberty Partners; Roger Vandenburg, President of Cariad Capital, Inc.; and
Richard Rouse.  Kay L. Toolson will continue as Board Chairman.
