Michigan Rivet Corporation Announces Results of Operations For Q1

    WARREN, Mich., March 6 Michigan Rivet Corporation
announced its results of operations for the first quarter ended January 31,
2001.

    Sales for the quarter ended January 31, 2001 were $7,658,000, down 25.8%
from the same quarter in 2000.  Net loss was $466,000 or $.73 per share as
compared to a net income of $.65 per share in the comparable period a year
ago.
