ADS is a lightweight brake concept developed for future vehicle
applications.
"While it was a worthwhile project, we realized that the ADS concept did
not fit with our core business priorities," said Chuck Grant, Federal-Mogul's
vice president of corporate development and strategic planning. "We are
pleased that Delphi, with its original equipment manufacturing capability and
resources, will find the ADS useful in its global brake endeavors."
Approximately 25 Federal-Mogul employees associated with the ADS project,
located in Rugby, England, have transferred to Delphi.
Federal-Mogul remains a global leader in brake friction materials for
original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket, and in foundation brake
