Gibraltar Declares Fourth Quarter 2000 Dividend Payment

    BUFFALO, N.Y., March 5 The Board of Directors of
Gibraltar has declared a cash dividend of $.03 per share for
the quarter ended December 31, 2000. The dividend will be payable on
March 31, 2001, to shareholders of record on March 19, 2001.

    On January 31, 2001, Gibraltar reported record sales of $678 million for
2000, versus $622 million in 1999, and diluted earnings per share of $1.92,
slightly below its record 1999 earnings of $1.95 per diluted share.
