Automotive News New American Manufacturing Conference,

NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 5 Tennessee-based Saturn Corp.
Chairman and President Cynthia Trudell and Bridgestone/Firestone CEO, Chairman
and President John Lampe are among more than a dozen manufacturing industry
leaders addressing the 2001 Automotive News New American Manufacturing
Conference (NAMC). The event is slated for April 9 - 11 at the Renaissance
Nashville Hotel in Nashville, Tenn.
"Your Next Four Years" is the theme of the fourth annual conference
sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development
(ECD), Deloitte & Touche/Deloitte Consulting and the University of Tennessee.
The program will address the growing importance of Tennessee and the entire
Southern Automotive Corridor to the global auto sector and explore key issues
affecting manufacturers, global sourcing, pricing and other aspects of the
international automotive industry.
The event attracts hundreds of manufacturing experts and top managers of
the industry's leading automakers and the OEMs, suppliers, financial service
firms and trade associations that support them.
