APA Keeps on Truckin' With SAE Reception Tuesday, March 6

    DETROIT, March 5 SAE is right around the corner and it's
time for the annual APA reception.  This year's speaker is Tom Wallace,
vehicle line executive of General Motors' midsize trucks.  Tom will discuss
how GM is changing the game in midsize truck vehicle development with the 2002
GMC Envoy, Chevy TrailBlazer and Oldsmobile Bravada.  These programs set the
stage for future GM product development, which will rely more heavily on
supplier integration and innovation and new design processes.
    The reception will be held Tuesday, March 6 at the Detroit Athletic Club.
Cocktails begin at 5:30 p.m.  The speech starts at 6:15 p.m.  Hors d'oeuvres
and cocktails will be served until 8 p.m.
