TONY STEWART, NO. 20 HOME DEPOT PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:(ON MAKING THE BEST OF A BAD DAY) "We're still better in the points than we have been in the past at this point. It wasn't the day we wanted, but at the same time we finished the thing. Some good cars got in some big wrecks today, so it was nice to be able to finish the day off. It's nice to say that you had a bad day and still finished 12th. We just missed it a little bit today and had an off day, but we'll come back, go to Atlanta and try to see if we can continue the string of being competitive. This is still a better spring than what we had last year, so I'm pretty happy with it so far.
(DOES YOUR POINTS POSITION GIVE YOU MORE CONFIDENCE THAN YOU'VE HAD AT THIS POINT BEFORE?) "You've got to take it one race at a time. You can't get ahead of yourself. Right now you just look at it and say, 'Well, we're better than we were last year at this time,' and that's what our goal always has been each year - to be better the next year than we were the previous year. Our points position is better. We didn't have a better day today for this race, but all in all we're better at this point of the season than we were last year."
