Productivity Technologies Corp. Reports $9 Million in New Business

    NEW YORK, March 1 Productivity Technologies Corp.
, announced today that its operating subsidiary Atlas
Technologies, Inc. has been awarded a major contract to supply its patented
FLEX 5000(R) Transfer Press Automation to a Big 3 U.S. automotive company.
The contract, worth over $9 million, is to upgrade existing transfer presses
to newer style electronic servo feed type automation.
    Atlas CEO, James A. Kolinski stated, "This order is significant since
these presses are used for making large automotive body panels like passenger
car doors, which is a market we have not penetrated until now.  We are pleased
to announce this broadened application of our FLEX series of transfer press
automation, which continues to grow in popularity with both automotive and
appliance manufacturers, along with our FLEX series of transfer press finger
tooling."
