Land Rover North America, Inc. Reports February Sales

    LANHAM, Md., March 1 Land Rover North America, Inc.
reports February 2001 U.S. sales of 1,454 units.  There were 333 Range Rovers
and 1,121 Discovery Series IIs sold in the U.S. during the period.  These
figures represent a decline from last year's all-time sales record, which also
included a significant fleet sale that did not occur this year.
