Volkswagen Reports February Results
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 1 Volkswagen of America
reported sales of 24,265 in February in the United States, representing the
German automaker's second-best February in two decades. Compared to last
year's record of 27,096, February's numbers represent a drop of 10.4 percent,
without accounting for the loss of one sales day for leap year.
For the year, Volkswagen has sold 44,409 new cars in the U.S., compared to

selling season.
