GKN Sinter Metals Announces Scholarship Award
Program
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 1 A unique opportunity to
sponsor an engineering scholarship is being offered to members of the Society
of Automotive Engineers (SAE) by GKN Sinter Metals, the world's leading powder
metals (P/M) parts manufacturer.
Beginning in March 2001, GKN Sinter Metals will award a $3,000 scholarship
in the name of the individual winner and his or her employer, to be selected
from the SAE membership list as well as individuals who register their name
while visiting the GKN Sinter Metals web site, http://www.gknsintermetals.com .
Engineers can register for the program at the GKN Sinter Metals
information and technical center located in the Tiger Den at Comerica Park
during the SAE World Congress in Detroit March 5-8, 2001.
GKN will select a name from its database of registrants and post the
potential winner on the first of each month on the company's web site.
Winners must visit the web site and claim the scholarship award during the
month of their selection.
