Hyundai Sets All-Time Sales Record
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., March 1 Hyundai Motor America
today announced sales of 24,800 vehicles for the month of February, an
all-time record for the company and up 34 percent over the previous year.
"Downturn? What downturn?" said Robert Cosmai, vice-president of sales for
Hyundai Motor America. "February sales set an all-time record for Hyundai and
we expect these surging sales to continue. Our product lineup is strong and
sales of our Santa Fe sport utility vehicle will continue to grow as plant
capacity increases," he added.
"In addition to our complete line of high-quality, high-value vehicle,
another factor bringing customers into Hyundai showrooms is The Hyundai
Advantage, America's Best Warranty" Cosmai said. "Hyundai buyers are covered
by a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile
bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 5-year/100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty and
5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance protection," he added.
