enamics, Inc. Expands Management Team With New Appointments

    STAMFORD, Conn.--March 1, 2001--

Truck maker PACCAR CIO Patrick Flynn Joins Advisory Board

    enamics, Inc., provider of a collaborative enterprise decision-making platform for aligned business and technology planning, announced today the executive management appointments of Dan Hoogterp, Chief Technology Officer, James McConnell, Vice President, Channel Management, and Michael Driscoll, Vice President, Vendor Interchange. enamics also announced that Patrick Flynn, Vice President and Chief Information Officer of PACCAR, Inc. , has joined its advisory board.

    Dan Hoogterp joins enamics from SageMaker, provider of a highly-personalized enterprise portal infrastructure. He became CTO of SageMaker when, as CEO of Retrieval Technologies, he negotiated the merger of the two companies. At SageMaker, he was also responsible for driving the development of a core line of Web-based information retrieval and collaborative intelligence applications. Throughout his career, he had key roles in product development at IBM, MCI, Sprint and Industrial Network Solutions. His breadth of experience includes designing and developing a multi-protocol message routing system, object-oriented architectures, and one of the earliest EDI and electronic purchasing product solutions. Mr. Hoogterp has a number of inventions to his credit, including a patent pending. He has published several papers and has a rich history of public speaking.
    James McConnell, responsible for strategic initiatives with enamics' channel and knowledge partners, brings 20 years experience in product marketing and strategic planning and has worked with such companies as Avon, Nestle Foods, Nabisco and Donnelly Marketing. Mr. McConnell joins enamics from NeuVis, Inc., where he was vice president of strategic alliances. Prior to NeuVis, he established key relationships with Big 5 consultancies and global system integrators at Hyperion Software and SS&C Technologies, where his efforts resulted in significant revenue and market share growth.
    Michael Driscoll is responsible for the vision and execution of strategic programs targeted at establishing and developing the enamics' vendor interchange. He brings over 15 years experience conceiving, marketing, selling and managing vendor marketplaces at leading conferences and trade shows. Prior to enamics, Mr. Driscoll was vice president of B2B for eMarketWorld, Inc., where he launched and produced the eB2B MarketWorld conference sponsored by Forrester Research and Fortune magazine. He also marketed and sold the eBusiness Conference and Expo for CMP Media, was vice president of Comtek International, where he produced the largest IT events in Russia and Eastern Europe and launched Imaging Expo in New York, and launched three major conferences for Reed Exhibition Companies.

Patrick Flynn Joins Advisory Board

    Patrick Flynn joins enamics advisory board bringing his insight as CIO of PACCAR, Inc. An $8.6 billion company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, PACCAR is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of high quality light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and Foden nameplates.     Prior management success included implementing software process improvement, client-server architectures, and significant development efforts in an international arena for FedEx and Fruit-of-the-Loom.
