NASCAR WCUP: Martinsville October Tickets Go On Sale March 7

March 1, 2001MARTINSVILLE, VA--Tickets for the October 14 Old Dominion 500 NASCAR Winston Cup race at Martinsville Speedway will go on sale Wednesday, March 7 at 9 a.m.
Tickets for the Old Dominion 500 are $40 to $70 each. Tickets can be ordered by calling the ticket office toll free at (877) 722-3849 or by calling (540) 956-3151.
Tony Stewart is the defending champion for the Old Dominion 500. Stewart drove his Home Depot Pontiac to a half-second victory over Dale Earnhardt in the GM Goodwrench Service Chevrolet. Stewart also won the pole last fall, his second Martinsville pole.
Qualifying for the Old Dominion 500 is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 12 at 3 p.m. with the race taking the green flag at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14.
The NASCAR Featherlite Modified Tour will run the Advance Auto Parts 200 on Saturday, Oct. 13, beginning at 2:45 p.m. Tickets for the Advance Auto Parts 200 are unreserved and can be purchased for $30 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12.
The next action at Martinsville Speedway is on Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8 when the track will host the Advance Auto Parts 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Winston Cup series.
Tickets for the Advance Auto Parts 250 on April 7 are unreserved and can be purchased for $30 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12. Tickets for the Virginia 500 on April 8 are $40-$70.
