Volvo to Sponsor International Wine
Festival
WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 Volvo's Mid-Atlantic Market Area,
Southern Region and Capital Area Retailers will be the presenting sponsors of
next month's Washington, DC International Wine Festival at the Ronald Reagan
Building & International Trade Center, it was announced here today.
The wine festival, scheduled for March 3-4, is in its second year of
existence.
"We're ecstatic to be aligned with such a premier event," said Dave
Simonetti, General Manager of Volvo's Mid-Atlantic Market Area. "The festival
draws people from all around the Washington, DC area who generally have an
upscale lifestyle and are interested in premium products. It's a perfect fit
for Volvo."
Volvo will display five vehicles and provide a staffed information booth
for each day of the festival. Show hours on both days are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
"The display and booth were important elements to this sponsorship so
that we may properly present our model line to potential consumers," added
Simonetti.
More than 600 wines from all over the world will be available for sampling
during the two-day festival.
