NASCAR WCUP: Johnny Benson running well in opening laps of Dura Lube 400

JOHNNY BENSON, NO. 10 VALVOLINE PONTIAC GRAND PRIX:

(ANY IDEA HOW GOOD YOUR CAR IS YET) "Well, we passed four cars on the first lap. That was cool. But of course, then we got a little bit of rain, then we ran a little bit, then it rained, so it's really hard to get a feel what the car is like. But I think we're in pretty good shape. I felt that way when we left 'Happy Hour' that we were going to be alright and I feel that way going into tomorrow. We made an adjustment there on that last pit stop and we'll have to wait and see if it's alright."

(IS THERE MORE IMPORTANCE THAN USUAL ON THE TEAM AND THE ABILITY TO MAKE CHANGES TOMORROW?) "I think tomorrow's race is going to be exactly the way we started today. The track is washed off now and it's going to be that way again. I think it will be fine. I'm looking forward to it. I think everything will be in good shape. I just hate that we're doing it on Monday."
