    Boeing Electron Dynamic Devices Inc. (EDD), Torrance, Calif., recently won several new contracts worth a total of more than $34 million. Under the contracts, EDD provides traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTA) and electronic power conditioners (EPC) to Alcatel Space Industries of Toulouse, France, and to Space Systems/Loral, Palo Alto, Calif. EDD is a unit of The Boeing Company .

    Force Milstar II Satellite

    A U.S. Air Force Milstar II satellite equipped with a powerful medium-data-rate (MDR) communications payload supplied by Boeing Satellite Systems Inc.
