WOODSIDE AND TEAM WALKER MOTORSPORTS WILL PAY TRIBUTE TO EARNHARDT WITH BLACK CAR AT THE BULLRING

February 22, 2001 (North Hollywood, Calif.) - Donna Walker, owner of Team Walker Motorsports, and her team will pay tribute to Dale Earnhardt in the NAPA Auto Parts 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway's Bullring on Wednesday, February 28th with a car painted in Earnhardt's signature color and style.

The #45 Ringers, Ron's Rear Ends, NAPA Chevrolet in the NASCAR Winston West Series driven by Sean Woodside will be painted black especially for this event, and will be lettered using the same style as Earnhardt's race car.

"This will be our first race since Earnhardt's death, and Donna and the team wanted to do something to pay our respects to him," said Woodside. "We all owe Dale Earnhardt a lot. His work to build the sport and his driving set the bar for many of us. We felt that it was important to recognize that we might not have some of what we have today without him."

Walker commented, "Although Team Walker Motorsports is a relatively recent entry into NASCAR racing, we respect and value those who built the sport into what it is today. Earnhardt is someone we looked up to as a driver, owner, businessman and spokesperson. Carrying his colors in this race is our way of saying thank you."

The NAPA Auto Parts 300 will be televised tape delayed on Fox Sports Net, time and date to be determined.
